3 Step Mango Salsa is a favorite in my home. It is a mild salsa with a touch of the tropics. After my own garden, my go-to source for organic veggies and fruit is Azure Standard. I have included their item numbers after each ingredient to help you find what you’re looking for. Please keep in mind that I first wrote this recipe in 2012 Depending on when you’re reading this post, you may find ingredients out of stock due to the season.

3 Step Mango Salsa

Serves: 4-6
  • 2 mangos cut into small cubes (QP451)
  • 1/2 Onion diced (QP018)
  • 1 grilled bell pepper – chopped (GP178)
  • 1 grilled zucchini – sliced when you grill it and chopped for the salsa (GP361)
  • Pinch of Salt and Pepper (BP070)
1: Prepare fruit and veggies.
2: Grill veggies until tender but still firm.
3: Mix grilled veggies with chopped fruit and seasonings.
Note: Have fun with this recipe. My family enjoys using this salsa as a topping when I grill chicken. They also enjoy it as an option on Taco Night. You can even add a variety of other ingredients to this recipe and sill have a winner! In fact, there have been times when I included grilled pineapple, grilled jalapenos, and cilantro to add to the mixture. No matter how I prepared this recipe or what I served it with, t was a hit in my house!
