I don’t take your notes for granted.

When you share your stories with me, I am honored and take care to read these letters and pray for the requests you mention. I always try to let you know when I’ve read your note, but long and thoughtful replies often take me time.

Why?

Let’s face it; no one needs to hear Jeanette’s opinion.

We need to know what God thinks about issues that concern us. Because of that, I spend time praying and responding with mindfulness on what God has to say about a subject. That’s not to say that I believe all of my opinions are God’s opinions. No, I’m quite a mess; a work in progress.

As I review my life I see ideas changed as I grow in my walk with the Lord. It’s humbling as a writer and speaker when you look back and read or listen to something you’ve said and think, “I should have kept my mouth quiet.” Yes, I’ve been in that place before. So the delay isn’t my lack of consideration. It’s sincerely my desire to not look back in 5 months or 5 years from now and feel like I mislead you.
